The DCI further stated in his speedy Response to the officers did a suspect search of one of the suspects’ Manyatta homes and, on that, made the following finds: an AK-47, AK-47, two magazines, and 118 rounds of seven, all neatly wrapped in bags and concealed beneath the floor.

“The arrest ensued following a distress report regarding a shooting incident in the Hambaburo region, where two assailants attacked four herders tending to their livestock, causing them to flee in terror,” it added.

The two suspects, as per the DCI, are in custody and are being processed before their arraignment in court. Reports soon followed that on Sunday, March 23, suspected Al Shabaab militants attacked a National Police Reservists Camp in Fafi, Garissa County, killing six Kenyans.A police report noted that four additional individuals were injured during the attack.
