A comedian known as “Handsome Boy” is making headlines after publicly claiming that socialite Vera Sidika is his mother. The self-proclaimed “Vera Sidika’s son,” who resides in the Kibera slums, is even demanding a DNA test to prove his alleged lineage.
Handsome Boy, who claims to hail from Busia, the neighboring county to where Vera Sidika spent her early married life, made the startling revelation during an interview with Trudy Kitui. He insists that he feels a deep connection to Sidika and believes they share a common ancestry. “I am very sure Vera Sidika is my mother,” he stated emphatically. “It’s something I have been saying for a long time.”
Prior to his claims about Sidika, Handsome Boy was known for his brief stint on the popular Churchill Show and his former close friendship with musician Stivo Simple Boy. He is now a married man and a father, struggling to make ends meet in Kibera. He lives in a dilapidated dwelling with a monthly rent of Ksh. 1500, a stark contrast to Sidika’s lavish lifestyle.
Visibly distressed during the interview, Handsome Boy accused Vera Sidika of abandoning him and showing no concern for his well-being. He pleaded with the socialite to come to his rescue and help improve his dire living conditions.
“I am living in a very pathetic house,” he lamented. “I am begging Vera Sidika to come for my rescue and at least change my life.”
Adding to his woes, Handsome Boy claims his friendship with Stivo Simple Boy has deteriorated, with the “Vijana Tuache Mihadarati” hitmaker reportedly cutting him off and offering no assistance.
While Vera Sidika has yet to publicly respond to Handsome Boy’s claims, the story has sparked a flurry of reactions on social media. Many are questioning the legitimacy of his assertions, while others are urging Sidika to address the matter and consider taking a DNA test to either confirm or deny the alleged relationship.
The situation remains unresolved, leaving Handsome Boy’s future, and the truth of his claims, uncertain. This story will continue to develop as more information becomes available.
